Letter to The Lost

You are not forgotten
Nor will you ever be.
As long as life and memory last,
Your soul will live in me.
I’ll miss you now
My heart is sore.
As time goes by
I’ll miss you more.
Death has no power
To keep apart
A love forged so deeply
In a person’s heart.
Still memories of the best moments
Parted with the departed friend,
Ever it is an asset for a future life
Which the death couldn’t take away.
Death creates a veil
And shields us from view,
But death can do nothing
To disconnect me from you.
Your loving smile,
Your gentle face,
No one can fill
Your vacant space.
