We’re always told to be ourselves, and I stand by that. As a result of
following that line, I’ve let go, and even though it has only been a year
since I first started ballet, so much has happened and I feel this has
resulted in me feeling more content with myself. Everyone has their
struggles in life, but when I dance, that weight is lifted.
I wanted to share my experience to hopefully encourage you, to show you
that when it comes to your happiness, sometimes it’s worth taking risks
because you never know how it may lead. The best thing you can do is try,
learn from your mistakes, and never give up. And if you still fail? At least
you know that you gave it your best!
