A Night Out
The glass chandelier right above me,
Said “have fun and relax, all will go well, that I guarantee.”
The silky red dresses of well dressed ladies,
Glimmering in the light, as they step out of their massive Mercedes.
The sounds of chatter, laughter, and clatter,
Went well with the clinking sounds of the silver platter.
The swaying beats of the live Latino music,
When well with its accompanied guitar acoustics.
“Make yourself at home” the chairs said,
Calming my nerves, a little, as I was full of dread.
This place was a whole new world to me,
As I thought that, I was full of glee.
The tables, lavishly filled with food from afar,
Made me feel like a very famous superstar,
So happily, pampered and dressed,
I honestly felt like I was blest.
