Samara Perera sang a soulful Wishing You Were Here Again. Chelaka
Jayasekera, accompanied by Varun Fernando, packed a punch of the 90s in
their song Have You Seen the Rain.

Rheshmita Sellasamy sang an absolute banger version of Whiteny Houston’s
One Moment in Time. The trio of Akein Bandara, Gagana Abeyrathne and
Oshini Cuttilan gave us an awesome version of Long Train Running that made
us all want to get up and dance.

Leenah Wahab and Minsandee Kalutotage presented the coolest song of the
night: No Diggity. Soraya Deen’s Love of My Life by Queen tranquilized us.
Ahmad Jiffry’s Phantom of the Opera gave us chills and created a really
mysterious atmosphere.

To end this night with a bang, the Choir brought us an energetic version of
Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen. It made us want to sing along to this wonderful
song.

The musical evening was a huge success. Many congratulations to the
participants and thank you to the students, teachers, backstage members,
and all others who helped make this night possible. It was truly a memorable
evening.
